Does any know of the existence of an English translation of the text in Chaindive I really enjoyed playing the import demo on the PlayStation Magazine Disc, Issue 79, as did one of my friends, the only thing I hate about this game is that it was never released outside of Japan. ChainDive, developed by Japan's Alvion and released on PlayStation 2 in October of 2003, is played from a 2.5D perspective with 3D visuals and backgrounds locked on the 2D plane. TECHNOuchi has a penchant for odd time (particularly 7) that largely isn't on display here, but a number of the tracks have a rhythmic intricacy/polymetric(-esque) feel in the synth layers that's cool, so he's still flexing a bit in that respect. If you like synth riffs, transposing chords, and breakbeats, then you're sure to find something you'll love. The soundtrack's good stuff! Turn of the century VGM EDM is the name of the game here, with some pretty crunchy audio quality that definitely enhances the experience. I'm vaguely curious if there happens to be some Copyright Business going on with this soundtrack.
